Students who wish to gain an EU studies certificate are required the following procedures.
There is a submission deadline for each procedure in Spring Semester and Fall Semester.

The basic flow to complete EU-DPs

※For students in LL.M. and CSPA programmes: 1→3→4
※For Undergraduate students who take courses for 4 credits instead of submitting RP: 1⇒2⇒4

Submission of the “EU-DPs Entry Sheet

Please submit the entry sheet when you register first for this programme, or when you want to change information in the entry sheet.
* Doctoral students applying for the EU-DP Graduate Course must submit a “Letter of Acceptance for the EU Studies Diploma Programmes (EU-DPs) Enrollment (WORD).

COURSE REGISTRATION

The EU-DPs Course List up to the following March is published on the EU Centre’s website every around April (or around October). Please make a course plan and follow the registration procedure of your School / Graduate School. Not required to report to the EU Centre at this point.

Submission of the “Report of acquired credits in the previous academic year”

Please submit the “Report of acquired credits in the previous academic year” to the EU Centre in the following April (October).

*Request for Retroactive Credits: it is also possible to request for retroactive credit acquired more than 2 years ago. For more information, please contact us.
This procedure is NOT necessary for students in LL.M. and CSPA programmes.

RESEARCH PAPER

* For undergraduate students in 3rd year and above, and all graduate students.

Submission of Research Paper proposal

Please submit it in the semester which you plan to submit your research paper. However, the proposal approved is valid by the next semester. (Limited to those who continue to be enrolled at Kyushu University.)
* To complete a RP proposal, you must have an approval and signature on the form by your academic adviser.

Submission of Research Paper and An academic advisor assessment

Please submit the research paper and the documents required when submitting the research paper in the semester in which you submitted your RP proposal. However, submission in the following semester is acceptable only if you are to be enrolled at Kyushu University.

APPLICATION FOR COMPLETION 

Submission of the “Application for completion of EU-DPs”

Please submit the form in the semester which you will complete the requirement.

[Forms to be submitted: EU Centre designated forms (Application for completion ) to be sent as an email attachment.]

  • Undergraduate Student
    • (Form 1) Application for completion of EU-DPs *For both Undergraduate and Graduate
    • (Form 2-1) Report of completed EU-DPs Courses (including expected courses for semester being applied for) for Undergraduate students
  • Graduate Students
    • (Form 1) Application for completion of EU-DPs *For both Undergraduate and Graduate
    • (Form 2-2) Report of completed EU-DPs Courses (including expected courses for semester being applied for) for Graduate students

*Forms 2-1 and 2-2.
All of your completed EU-DPs courses should be listed (select in Excel table), which will be checked by the EU Centre against your transcripts to confirm your credit acquisition. You do not need to send academic
transcripts.

【Issuance date of Diploma (Certificate)】

Diploma (Certificate) is issued in October for the First (Spring) Semester, and in April for the Second (Fall) Semester.
